Your Voice Matters
Community and stakeholder feedback has helped shape the ongoing development of the DeLamar Project.
Through meetings, site tours, community events, surveys, presentations, and ongoing outreach across the region, the Project team has recorded more than 49,057 stakeholder and community engagement interactions since 2017. Integra prioritizes meeting people where they are by participating in existing community events, local meetings, schools, rodeos, fairs, and other gatherings across the region.
These ongoing conversations have helped us better understand local perspectives, answer questions, identify community priorities, and inform continued refinement of the mine plan and Project design.

Local Involvement
The DeLamar Project is designed to create lasting benefits and foster long-term resilience for southwest Idaho through local investment, family-wage jobs, and long-term economic opportunity.
DeLamar Day
Held each August, DeLamar Day is a free community celebration of the history, cultures, and traditions that have shaped the Idaho, Oregon, and Nevada region for generations. First launched in 2021, the event has become an annual tradition that Integra looks forward to continuing with the community for many years to come.
Sponsored and organized by Integra, DeLamar Day brings together local families, Tribal communities, businesses, artists, historians, ranchers, and community organizations for a day focused on celebrating the region’s shared heritage and community spirit.
The event highlights the area’s deep connections to mining, ranching, Basque culture, and Native American history through activities, performances, demonstrations, food, music, storytelling, and educational exhibits. Past events have included guided mine tours and Project information opportunities, cowboy poetry, live cowboy music, historical demonstrations, Basque cultural demonstrations, Shoshone and Paiute drum groups and traditional dance performances, local artisan vendors, and a variety of family-friendly activities and games that change from year to year.
DeLamar Day is designed to be accessible and welcoming to the broader community, with all activities offered free of charge to attendees. The event also prioritizes the use of local vendors, businesses, performers, and organizations to help support regional economic activity while creating opportunities to celebrate the people, traditions, and communities connected to the DeLamar region.
In recognition of the event’s importance to the region and its celebration of local heritage and culture, Idaho Governor Brad Little officially proclaimed August 18, 2023, as “DeLamar Day” in the State of Idaho.
